Summer Days August 30, 2010 R. Roberts (New Castle, IN, USA) My husband and I love this grill. It's perfect for two people. It's getting a lot of use. I lined the bottom with heavy duty foil, so it's a snap to clean up. The Cuisinart basket is great for flaky flish and shrimp. It is also very sturdy on the portable stand.
Great purchase.
This grill rocks - first time gas grill user August 14, 2010 Mark E. McGovern (Miami Beach) I've never used a gas grill before, always a charcoal guy, but I decided to buy one based on the reviews. I bought the grill+stand+cover package, and I couldn't be more pleased. It arrived the next day, on a Saturday. It took about 15 minutes to set up both the grill and the stand. Instructions are very clear. I was a bit hesitant because I've never used bottled propane before, but it turned out to be very easy. I seasoned the grill using the directions provided by another reviewer. It's a good idea since it's cast iron. I also heated the grill on 'high' for 15 minutes prior to first use, per the manufacturer's instructions. It works beautifully and is everything the other reviewers here have said. Easy to use. Great results (I cooked seasoned chicken breasts and they came out perfect), easy clean up, portable, looks good on my patio, good quality materials. I recommend buying the stand if you don't have another table or surface to cook on, such as a picnic table. I highly recommend this grill, especially if you have been hesitant about using gas. It turns out to be really easy.
Burner Control A Problem August 7, 2010 R. Messer Initially the unit worked very well, but after three weeks, and about five uses, I could not get the flames on the burner to go above a low setting. Temperature would not go above 200 degrees. It was still within warranty and Amazon replaced the unit.
Just the right size August 7, 2010 Micheal Kirk (LEXINGTON, KY, US) Being sing did not need a large grill. This one fit the need. Very high quality built and does a great job. Very easy to clean and easy on fuel. highly recommend this one!
4 months purchased satisfied August 5, 2010 flfarmer11 So far so good.
Cooks great and looks good. Bought an adapter to use with a full size propane tank, didn't want to deal with expense and constant replacement of small tanks. Travels well, many tailgating adventures- did use a small propane tanks... small trunk.
Yet to see how it lasts after a year or two as many of these things seem to disintegrate. Sometimes needs to be restarted b/c flame/heat doesn't reach full strength.
